Estos hombres y mujeres, con resolución inquebrantable, han dejado un legado que enriquece la esencia de nuestra nación, una herencia construida a través de generaciones. La comunidad hispana ha tenido una profunda influencia, dando forma a la diversidad de nuestra sociedad. En los sacrificios de estos veteranos, vemos la encarnación de valores arraigados en el servicio, el honor y un compromiso constante con un mañana mejor. These men and women, with unwavering resolution, have left a legacy that enriches the essence of our nation, a heritage built through generations. The Hispanic community has had a profound influence, shaping the diversity of our society. In the sacrifices of these veterans, we see the embodiment of values rooted in service, honor, and a constant commitment to a better tomorrow. Reflecting on their stories, we extend our deepest gratitude to these heroes who have donned the uniform, serving as beacons of strength and unity. To those who have paved the way and those who will follow, we thank you for your service. In memory of my husband, Juan José San Juan Pereira, who served with honor in the United States Navy for over 30 years, we pay tribute to his valuable legacy.
