From Service to Story: Chronicles of Hispanic Veterans

Translation Within American history, Hispanic veterans have written a chronicle of courage, sacrifice, and dedication. These men and women, with unwavering resolution, have left a legacy that enriches the essence of our nation, a heritage built through generations. The Hispanic community has had a profound influence, shaping the diversity of our society. In the sacrifices of these veterans, we see the embodiment of values rooted in service, honor, and a constant commitment to a better tomorrow. Reflecting on their stories, we extend our deepest gratitude to these heroes who have donned the uniform, serving as beacons of strength and unity. To those who have paved the way and those who will follow, we thank you for your service. In memory of my husband, Juan José San Juan Pereira, who served with honor in the United States Navy for over 30 years, we pay tribute to his valuable legacy. We appreciate everyone, including future members of our Armed Forces, for their service and sacrifice. This is a tribute to the past, a recognition of the present, and a sincere thank you to those who continue to defend the freedom of our nation.
